Fun activities are a great way to get people involved.

Events

July and August 2006 we  collected school supplies and then donated them to local Elementary Schools and the Salvation army.

Dreammaker 1980, Inc cleaned the local Lutheran church child care center Aug 19 this was the first of our monthly community service with this church. We are planning a toy drive to replace old and well worn toys also at this church.

On going on-line clothing closet. Dreammaker 1980 collects gently used quality clothing to distribute to those in need. Donated clothing items will be distributed to organizations like Dress For Success, Kids in Distress, Women in Distress, and many other local community service organization.

We are currently accepting donations of clothing, office equipment and other gently used goods to fill our Dreammaker 1980 Storehouse  the proceeds will support Dreammaker 1980 community projects. You can watch your dollars at works through Project IMPACT, life skill work shops, back to school backpacks project, and to name a few.

We are currently involved in Funding Factory Recycling Program. This is an environmentally friendly no-selling fundraiser designed to provide greater access to funds as well as Free technology, recreation and classroom equipment. We plan to utilize these funds to further our charity's mission. Please contact Marie Bonamy 754 244-6152 for more information or to donate used printer cartridges and cell phones.

Dreammaker 1980, Inc July 2006, participated in a co-operative Car Wash with Sigma Beta Xi, Inc Nu Xi chapter. It was an enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and one we hope to do again soon.

 August 2006 Car wash with Nu Xi chapter of Sigma Beta Xi at Local Wal-Mart in Coral Springs, Florida was a success more are planned at this locale.

Upcoming Events              

Educational seminars and workshops are being planned for the residents of the city of Liberia.

This year's back to school backpack 2008 runs from June through July with distribution to local age4ncy August 2008.

December 1, 2008 Dreammaker 1980, Inc will present at the local World's Aids Day event sponsored by Children's Dialogistic and Treatment Center
